INTRODUCTION This report provides the understanding and importance of Human Resource Management for any organisation. The report shows how HRM contributes in any organisational achievements. In this report HR planning and development methods are examined in detail and the way to improve HR performance are suggested. COMPANY BACKGROUND The Coca-Cola Company is one of the world’s top soft drink makers. Coca-Cola owns the best-known soft drink brands such as, Coca-cola, Diet Coke, Fanta and Sprite. this is an organisation with a history starting from 1892. The company’s flagship product, Coca-Cola was invented by a pharmacist John Stith Pemberton (The Coca-Cola Company, 2010).
